Bottom line, I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. It's hard to believe the high prices at this place, considerin' how small the portions are. As much as she loves cole slaw she wouldn't eat the cole slaw from this place. The fish I got was so small I could eat each peice in about three bites each, an' I got about twelve chips, an' two small burnt hush puppies. Me an' me wife got the specials, I got the '2 pieces of fish with chips, cole slaw & hush puppies', an' she got the '1 piece of fish with chips & cole slaw'.

I came to find out that the street market was closed so I turned around and decided to pop in for. I was heading to the Maltby Street Market and stumbled across the Fish Bar on my way there. And boy did I pick the right place So delicious. Anyway, I'm originally from England, an' this place is awful. 2 reviews of Fish Bar 'I'm visiting London for the first time, so it was imperative to have fish & chips. Better than ANY (Chip Shop) in England? I don't know wha' 'Yas' (another reviewer) is talkin' about, I highly doubt tha' he's/she's been to EVERY Chip Shop in England.there are thousands of Chip Shops there.
